I bought this book as a step to start juicing more. Every book I find on juicing may contain helpful info but the organization is always lacking. Most recipes in these books are organized by your ailment, not here. The book has a great spiral spine so you can lay it flat while you follow a recipe. I have tried many recipes in this book and almost all of them have been really yummy even when I may not have all the ingredients on hand. The very best part of this book is the organization. If you have a ton of apples or oranges in the fruit bowl, this book is organized by fruit. It has these great little icons in the middle of the outside edge and you flip through quickly to see what recipe you want. The pages are shiny and colorful which most book lovers like to see. Even though this book is not organized by illness, it does have an index on what to drink for a certain problem.

After looking at lots of juicing books, this seemed the best for me. Further these recipes are simple and have ingredients most people have on hand. Some juicing books have exotic recipes and when you are just starting out, it is easier to juice when it is simple and you have it on hand.

Fuzzy Bee and Friends (Cloth Books) CustomerReview

Everyone agrees how important it is to start reading to your baby as soon as possible, but the trick is finding books that can interest them at a very young age. I love our cloth books for that reason! Fuzzy Bee and Friends is one of our favorites. The colors, strong contrasts, and different textures are very exciting to our three month old and have been for the last month! He has just started turning pages, and likes to look at and touch the images almost as much as he likes to try and wedge the whole book in his mouth. The text is short, and the rymes aren't obnoxious so reading it is still fun even after the 100th time.

These are great books that cover the history of Lego and the mini figure. It features great colored pictures and even behind the scenes photos of how lego is made. The part I really like is the information on how many legos are produced and the way they are produced very cool. A must have for the lego collector or anyone that loves lego. House Beautiful The Home Book: Creating a Beautiful Home of Your Own (House Beautiful Series) Review

Tons of beautiful photos fill this thick volume. The photos are very clear and appear true to life in color. The book is sectioned off by various areas of the home such as: dining, living room, kitchen, etc. There are many helpful tips and designer favorite tips. The writing is clear on the eyes and in concept. This is somewhat of a basic decorating book and I did feel some areas were rather boring such as: going over finding the perfect bench to place at the foot of the master bed. That being said what average homeowner among us couldn't use some brushing up on basic home layouts. Like most HB books it is really stunning but unlike some HB books the photos are not overly ornate at all and many focus on an eclectic style incorporating both modern, country and some Mediterranean designs. Some HB books seem to only be for the rich and famous. This is somewhat of a basic book with room/furniture layout discussed as well as color choices for walls, etc. I did still feel that many of the rooms were above the budget of the average homeowner but take what you can from this beautiful book. I personally would have very much liked to see more wall art displays...that was lacking. Also: for the bedrooms...more full suite photos would have been appreciated.

The Adobe Photoshop CS4 Book for Digital Photographers Review

I had a real internal debate over whether to upgrade from Photoshop Elements 7 to Elements 8 or to CS4. I had used Photoshop a while back, but I really hated the interface, so I had gone with Elements several years ago. Elements is very good--it's got about 90% of what most people ever need. But, there were a few features I missed from Photoshop CS, so in the end, I upgraded to CS4.

With all that said, I am not a Photoshop novice, but I am rusty, and there are a ton of new features that are new to me. For example, Bridge and Camera Raw didn't exist when I left Photoshop, so I appreciate the detailed coverage. Note that if you are a Lightroom user (which I am not), the Bridge chapters will be superfluous.

If you are brand new to image editing, you probably won't like this book. It assumes you have some basic familiarity with the workspace and capabilities of Photoshop, though not necessarily CS4. The focus of the book is on how to accomplish common tasks, which is exactly what I am looking for. I particularly appreciate the chapter on workflow, since I find myself somewhat overwhelmed as I move from the world of JPEG photography to the world of RAW, which is my primary reason for moving back from elements to CS4.

So, if you are a digital photographer who has played around with Photoshop in the past, you are probably going to love this book as much as I do. If you are brand new to Photoshop, hold off on this book in favor of a more basic tutorial.
